I take a VERY different approach...
Most coaches talk about 'results'.
Most scammers, fraudsters and other arseholes do too.
I don't promise my clients 'results'.
The reason is simple.
Your results are YOURS. You may take my guidance, implement it really well and succeed. You may take my guidance, implement it badly and fail. You may even ignore my guidance and do either. I am NOT in control of the outcome, so I will not claim credit for it.
That's called 'integrity'. You might not be used to it. Few others run their businesses in this way.
I offer a structured support process.
I offer my time, insight and encouragement.
I offer the highest levels of thinking and constructive challenge.
I offer a commitment to the greatest good of my clients, even if that means we cannot work together.
That's it. That's what you get. Promising anything else is unrealistic and dishonest. Anyone looking to buy a result is looking for a short-cut and likely to get scammed.
My focus is on my contribution to your journey. I'm not going to bullshit you with unrealistic promises or take credit for what you achieve or become. And I won't let you bullshit yourself, either. My support comes with five main conditions.
1. We will be honest with each other.
2. We will be equals.
3. We will both be personally accountable.
4. You need to be teachable.
5. You'll do the work.
I have no problem with my clients pushing back on my advice, as long as they are aware that that might not change it. I don't negotiate my advice, and my clients don't have to follow it. They own the outcomes, remember.
